SKALD14 is lacing up it’s gloves.  And, I don’t mean kid.

In days of yore (specifically way back in the 9^th century), a Skald was a Viking poet. Oral historians who regaled the listener with tales of history, the supernatural, and general Nordic badassery.

Centuries later, WNEP Theater embraces this tradition by knocking it into the canvas with an uppercut and bringing you some of the best storytellers in Chicago, who compete for immediate cash and eternal glory.

We pit oral brawlers against one another, until one stands alone. Glorious and sated.
